Food was okay, service was okay. Drinks were really good and cheap for a margarita..The reason for the 3 stars. Is I feel personally it wasn't clean in the windows you can see ants crawling on the window frame inside. If it wasn't for the ants crawling inside of a Food place I would give it a 4
Stopped into this little hidden gem after going to the DMV. They are a table service restaurant which I was not expecting. Got 3 street tacos - octopus, carnitas, and adobado. They were incredible. Highly recommend this place!
Definitely 100% Tex Mex and not a San Diego style Taco Shop at all. I walked in asked for a Machaca Plate they were like we don't have Machaca. Then I was like what do you have for Breakfast Burritos and they were like we don't have Breakfast Burritos. So then I said I'll take a Beef Enchilada Plate and dude says we don't have those either and I was really confused. Finally I found Surf and Turf Giant Burro on their menu and I was like ok, it was huge and I wasn't disappointed, definitely no shortage of rice and cabbage inside. And I tried the 99¢ fish tacos too
There is so much to say about this amazing gem of a place. It's very unassuming, but the food here hits the spot. Seriously, we have gone here once a week since we decided to try Taco Taco. We can't seem to get past the fish tacos and the fish and fries. The breading on their fish is amazing and fried to perfection. The fries are delicious as well. To match the great fish tacos is the price. $.99 if you dine there and $1.50 to go. Seriously, you can't lose coming here.
My kids and I give this hole in the wall taco shop a 4 out of 5 stars! The tacos were BOMB! Fries were tasty and price point was decent. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu. Only bummer is it was so hot inside the restaurant, however we are in a heat wave so maybe normally it’s fine here in San Diego! Thanks y’all, we’ll be back!
